Specifications include, but are not limited to: Removal of Debris a. Tree Trimming Operations. All debris from tree trimming operations shall be removed from the site within twenty-four hours unless a longer period is authorized by the County. Under no circumstances shall debris be left on the road over the weekends or holidays. b. Emergency Tree and Debris Removal. Specific guidance will be provided by the County for the removal of trees and debris during emergency operations. Generally, trees and debris will be removed as soon as possible to provide roadway clearance. c. Payment for Removal of Trees and Debris. All costs to complete the Work is included in the unit prices for the bid items. Task orders for work performed shall not in any case exceed $25,000.00. Any task order that exceeds $25,000.00 shall require separate approval from the Barrow County Board of Commissioners. The Contractor will be responsible to notify and make arrangements with the utility company (s) for the removal of branches and trees in close proximity of power and/or telephone lines. The Contractor shall provide for the protection of sidewalks, curbs, streets, manhole covers, catch basins, water valves and vehicles from the impact of falling wood when needed. Immediately after removal of a tree has been completed, the area beneath the tree shall be raked and all debris will be removed from the area. Care shall also be taken not to damage other trees, shrubs or lawns during tree removal operations.
