Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project will consist of furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment to remove asphalt and replace with approximately 278 square yards of asphalt on Little Neck Road ½ mile west of Bush Road. The total project area is 100 ft x 25 ft. The westbound travel lane will consist of the removal of 2 inches of the asphalt surface and replacing with a 9.5mm asphalt surface for an area of 100 ft x 12.5 ft. The eastbound travel lane will consist of a total area of 100 ft x 12.5 ft area of repair. 80 ft x 12.5 ft will consist of the removal of the asphalt, subbase, and the subgrade sufficient enough to replace with 24 inches of coarse sand subgrade (compacted to 100%), 10 inches of GABC subbase, a Tensar TX150 or equivalent geogrid, 3 inches of a 19mm asphalt, and 2 inches of a 9.5mm asphalt surface. Additionally, 10 ft on each side of this repair of the eastbound travel lane will also consist of the removal of 2” of asphalt and replacement of with a 9.5mm asphalt surface.
