The water treatment consultant shall provide the services as defined in these specifications and as outlined below: 1. Provide product and packaging specifications for the water treatment chemicals required. These chemical products shall perform the following functions: a. Condenser water scale and corrosion inhibition b. Condenser and chilled water microbiological control c. Chilled water corrosion inhibition d. Chilled water clean-up e. Hot water corrosion inhibition f. Hot water clean-up 2. Provide the specifications for any equipment necessary to Implement, monitor, or test the water treatment program. 3. The consultant must advise the University when a situation is observed which could be a violation of environmental laws or regulations (i.e. surface water/ groundwater contamination or spill contaminant and control). 4. Assist the University in obtaining and evaluating proposals for procuring Treatment chemicals and equipment. 5. Provide qualitative control testing of treatment chemicals.
