Renovation of an existing facility. College of the Arts (COTA) student instruction space within the proposed renovation scope includes photography labs, 3D lab, computer labs, and a classroom, which will be located in the remaining unrenovated space within Suite 109. The instructional space renovation is approximately 9,100 square feet. About 2,800 square feet of existing office space within Suite 107 will be adjoined with Suite 109, refreshed, and converted to COTA’s faculty/staff office space. Approximately 7,080 square feet of Suite 101 will be substantially renovated to convert existing office space into two gallery spaces: Athos Menaboni Pavilion and Emily Bourne Grigsby Gallery. The Menaboni Pavilion will be a dedicated gallery rotating KSU's Athos Menaboni collection. The Emily Bourne Grigsby Gallery will provide a flexible student gallery which will be primarily used for student Capstone Project exhibits. The renovation total project budget is anticipated at $6,300,000.
