Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Cleaning Areas The services to be provided under this contract are outlined below and include all of the following: a) Public Areas: "Public Areas" shall include, but shall not be limited to all entrances, canopy areas, lobbies, interior stairwells, break rooms, dining areas, elevators, corridors, elevator lobbies and parking areas. b) Restrooms: "Restrooms" shall include all public restrooms. c) Office and Cubical Areas: "Office Areas" shall include but not be limited to space used for work areas off public corridor areas. These areas shall include open offices, private offices, library areas, conference rooms, training rooms and office storage areas. d) Low Dusting and High Dusting: Low Dusting and High Dusting: Low dusting shall be defined as removal of all dust, lint, and litter, dry soil, etc. from the horizontal and vertical surfaces of shelving chairs, tables, file cabinets, desks, and other types of office furniture and equipment and from horizontal and vertical ledges, window sills, blinds, and hand rails from the floor surface up to a height of eight (8) feet. Items on the top of desks shall not be disturbed. High dusting shall be defined as removal of all dust from the floor surface, up to a height of twelve feet (12’). 2. Cleaning Services The custodial/building maintenance Supplier shall ensure the building interior is thoroughly cleaned nightly. The supplier shall be responsible for setting up all schedules, supplying all necessary transportation, equipment, cleaning supplies and materials, as well as all services, unless specified otherwise, for the cleaning of all areas and surfaces of the building. GSFA shall furnish all paper products, to include seat covers, hand towels and toilet tissue. GSFA shall also furnish all plastic trash can liners hand soap and sanitizer for employee use. The Supplier shall supply a MSDS sheet on all products that are used on the premise, maintained in a secure binder in the supply room. 3. Green Cleaning Due to environmental concerns, the successful supplier shall be aware of the latest technologies related to utilizing “Green Cleaning” processes, chemicals and equipment to provide a safe, healthy working environment for all persons utilizing the areas being serviced. The successful supplier is expected to introduce and implement environmentally friendly products and systems as they become available. Green Seal products (or similar standards approved by the Authority) are recommended and may be required at a future date. Utilizing Green Seal type products shall not be grounds for an increase in pricing during contract period; nor can such products be used as a reason for unsatisfactory results.
