Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City is seeking a firm to do traffic flow simulations and a traffic impacts study, for various proposed roadway configurations. The proposed roadways will connect the Georgia International Convention Center (GICC) to the ATL airport’s Consolidated Rental Car Facility (CONRAC). The analysis will include streets, which will be added throughout a proposed office and hotel complex. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is building their ATL West Parking Deck, with approximately 5700 parking spaces, adjacent and connected to the site. The proposed roads will connect to Roosevelt Highway and via Convention Center Concourse to Camp Creek Parkway. A traffic study, which analyzes current and projected traffic patterns and street usage rates, is required. The selected firm will help College Park staff in determining recommendations for the optimal roadway configurations. In addition, the firm will assist in making presentations to College Park’s Mayor and Council, College Park’s Board of the Business and Industrial Development Authority (Clearly College Park), the City of Atlanta’s Department of Aviation, as well as to selected community representatives. The exhibits illustrate proposed roadway configurations, and the location of the proposed railway crossing closure. 1.
