Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Project consists of designing and constructing an addition to the existing Maintenance Building to provide adequate space for personnel, equipment, and file storage. The construction will mimic the existing building with masonry cavity wall construction and a brick veneer for the exterior walls. The roofs will be open-web joists supporting metal decking, roof insulation, and standing seam metal roof panels. The addition will consist of a new combined building entrance for the existing building and the addition. The addition will house a large muster room, offices, a break room, restrooms, and mechanical and electrical rooms. Interior finishes are similar to the existing building with painted CMU walls, tiled restrooms, terrazzo floors in finished spaces and acoustical ceiling tiles, all as noted in the drawings. Associated mechanical, electrical and plumbing will be provided. Related site work is also included in the Work.
