Specifications include, but are not limited to: Habersham County Schools (HCS) is seeking a next generation access control system in order to more efficiently manage access control to school facilities. HCS desires a system that is centrally manageable by district administrators, allows site level management by site level managers, specific access to individual doors and groups, and that can provide flexible deployment options to improve cost effectiveness including online and offline wireless locks. Initial project goals: Provide flexible access to school exterior doors for all staff to reduce or eliminate the requirement for physical keys. Ability to apply different access credentials for staff at different locations, to lock down access during emergencies, and to provide temporary access to visitors as needed. Install offline wireless padlocks to control access to gates and other facilities. Ability to see audit logs of access granted including offline devices. Installation and configuration of all wiring and hardware as required for a complete and optimally configured wired and wireless access control system for all school facilities.
