Specifications include, but are not limited to: For Residential Clients, the intent of the program is to provide services that assist low- and moderate-income clients with improving the quality of life within the home so as it meets the minimum standards of health, safety and security. Services rendered under the program include repairs for the following items: 1. Inoperable HVAC units (i.e. central furnace including oil, gas, electric or woodstove units); 2. Inadequate plumbing defined as sewer line breaks, pipe breaks or no running water; 3. Unsafe foundation and/or structural hazards including sinking floors, cracked beams, broken windows and/or doors; 4. Unsafe environmental health conditions such as Mold, Lead, or Asbestos; 5. Inoperable or missing of smoke/carbon monoxide detectors; 6. Deteriorated or damaged roof causing water damage, leaks and/or contributing to an unsafe environment; 7. Architectural barriers to the home specifically relating to trip hazards; For Commercial Storefront improvements, business owners are provided assistance to enhance the exterior façade of the business. Services rendered include: 1. Installation of Storefront Systems 2. Installation of Lighting Enhancements 3. Window and Door Replacements 4. Awning Installation 5. Exterior Finishes
