Specifications include, but are not limited to: Building A Remove ceilings for Fire Caulk scope of work Protect adjacent finishes during Fire Caulk scope of work. Remove all improperly installed fire caulking or firestop materials at existing penetrations within and outside all (10) mechanical rooms as shown on attached Bldg A Mechanical Room Floor Plan. Key hole saw sheet rock to create proper annular space around all penetrations if necessary on fire rated and smoke rated walls. Install all new firestop material with only Hilti products (or approved Industry Equivalents) on both sides of the fire rated walls including all U.L. Design based labeling. Seal all vertical and horizontal penetrations including the head of wall joints. Repair cable bundles that penetrate walls with-in the voice & data rooms as necessary per code. Apply latex based fire rated sealant to the top of hourly fire rated gypsum partitions where necessary. Install smoke sealant at the bottom of the interior walls, inside each mechanical room location. All unmarked fire rated walls will be re-stenciled as per NFPA 101 code. All fire stop installation work must be code compliant as per NFPA 101 standards. Reinstall ceiling grid and tiles upon completion of Fire Caulking scope of work. Paint/Patch any wall damages caused by this scope of work. All finishes must be returned to their original condition prior to final payment of this project. Vendor must provide submittals, certifications, identification tags, and installation logs that can be collated and turned over in a single package upon substantial completion of the project. Building B Remove/open ceilings for Fire Caulk scope of work Protect adjacent finishes during Fire Caulk scope of work. Remove all improperly installed fire caulking or firestop materials at existing penetrations for 1 and 2 hour walls as shown on the attached Life Safety Drawings from the Bldg B Design Documents. As renovations to this building have occurred since the original design, field modifications to the scope will be discussed with the selected vendor. The basis of this bid is to be the original design documents and re-establishing the rated assemblies to current codes.
