Specifications include, but are not limited to: DPH plans to select a Supplier to provide a statewide business process assessment to be used in implementing a streamlined statewide EHR solution. The Supplier is also expected to provide implementation services, including requirements validation, design, configuration, interface development, integration, testing, training, data conversion, operational policies and processes, implementation, deployment-related activities, and maintenance and operations support. The EHR Solution Supplier must operate within best practices as defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and the State of Georgia Technology Authority (GTA), and adhere to the program governance, timelines, structure, operating principles, and approach to managing the initiative. This is particularly of note for quality management, interface development, integrated testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), operational readiness, training, Pilots, and rollout/deployment. The EHR Solution Supplier must test the system on all planned device types that will access the EHR Solution System. EHR Solution testing for UAT must be done with fully converted data. The Supplier should indicate how their proposed implementation may or may not impact functionality. Additionally, the Supplier should indicate exception handling processes where appropriate and any dependencies on existing systems or components of the new System to provide the specified functionality. Supplier must provide an approach narrative within this response template for each of the areas below. Additional levels of specificity for the EHR Solution Functional areas are outlined in the Response T-13 - EHR Detailed Requirements Matrix.
