Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Court Reporter records a word-for-word account of all proceedings of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners (BOC) and will transcribe the record into a written transcript during the calendar year 2020. There are two (2) scheduled BOC meetings per month conducted every first and third Wednesday (unless otherwise noted). The Board also has 4-6 Work Sessions per year usually occurring on the second or fourth Wednesday. Meetings start at 10 a.m. (unless otherwise noted) at Assembly Hall, 141 Pryor St. SW, Atlanta, GA. Each Board meeting generally lasts between five (5) and eight (8) hours. Work Sessions are usually shorter. Vendor MUST remain throughout the duration of each meeting, no matter how long it is. Vendor must provide all equipment for each meeting. The use of steno-mask or steno-type (tele-type) equipment is recommended. Vendor must be able to provide immediate playback (audio) or transcription during the meeting as requested. The number of pages (8.5 x 11) to be transcribed is from 50 to 150 per meeting (average 125), and they must be created in Microsoft Word, in size 12, Arial font, and not converted to Word from another program. Transcription will require single spacing during a speaker’s comments with a double space between each speaker. One-inch margins top, bottom, left, right. (Samples are available for review) The successful vendor must e-mail the Fulton County Clerk’s office an electronic attachment file of the transcription in Microsoft Word within five (5) business days. Expedited transcriptions (excerpts) are to be provided within 24 hours, upon notification. If the transcription is delivered later than the aforementioned time specified, 10% of the total invoiced amount will be deducted.
