Specifications include, but are not limited to: As set forth in this RFP, Proposals shall conform to the scope of services and technical requirements as set forth herein. 1.1. Oversees all operations of the food truck event held during the Art & Music in the Park and manage all of the food truck vendors, live bands, DJ’s, live entertainment, children’s activities, vendor merchants, and music. 1.2. Manages and performs food truck set up and closing (same day). 1.3. Handles total operations for managing vendors and weekly entertainment. 1.4. Acts as main contact to handle vendor relationships and day to day vendor needs and inquiries to ensure lasting relationships and renewed business. 1.5. Manages the marketing, promotion, press releases, and public relations for the food truck event. 1.6. Manages food truck signage. 1.7. Enforces operating rules and procedures. 1.8. Provides weekly progress, incident, and sales reports to City staff weekly. 1.9. Maintains an inventory of quality food trucks (10-12 Savoy Food Trucks and 2-3 Dessert Food Trucks); encourages and oversees improvements to the food trucks. 1.10. The Consultant must have been in business for at least three (3) years. 1.11. The Consultant must have proven experience in food truck operations, vending, scheduling which will not be limited to also include the development and execution of market research, idea gathering, and the development of marketing strategies to carry out the City’s vision to include local business. 1.12. The Consultant must submit three (3) references of a successful food truck venue and projects that you have worked on during the past five (5) years where you have planned, scheduled and managed food truck operations. 1.13. Providing all food trucks (minimum of ten (10), maximum of twelve (12) Savoy Food Truck with a minimum of two (2), maximum three (3) Dessert Food Trucks weekly) and service providers which shall be subcontractors of the Event Planner.
