The project consists of approximately 2,400 lf of 5” thick, 10’ wide concrete multi-use trail to extend the Carrollton GreenBelt to near the downtown district. The project begins at the intersection of South Street and Lucille Avenue and ends at Dixie Street where it will tie into the existing GreenBelt spur at the new Tanner Health Pavilion. The project will include construction of concrete trail, sawcutting and demolition of existing pavements as necessary for trail construction, pavement patching, reconstruction of sidewalks, repair and new installation of curb and gutter, storm drainage system installation, tree and other vegetation removal, pruning of adjacent vegetation for trail clearance, root bridging for the protection of existing trees, signing and marking, rectangular rapid flashing beacon installation, retaining wall construction, pedestrian bridge installation, new fencing installation, traffic control, construction staging, and coordination with project landscape architect, project engineer, project manager, city engineer, and property owners.
