Specifications include, but are not limited to:Georgia Gwinnett College is seeking competitive proposals from qualified firms for the Call Center Relocation project. GGC has outgrown its current call center location and are looking to combine two underutilized spaces to create one new, larger call center. Project includes removal of existing wall between a conference room and work room. It also includes incorporating two adjacent offices to part of the new call center space. As the two larger spaces are currently separated, the ceilings for each do not line up so the ceiling for the conference room ceiling must be made to align with the workroom. Flooring is only to be repaired where the wall is removed, so a dark green accent carpet is to be infilled. Mechanical and Sprinklers are to be modified so that the two spaces work as one complete space. The electrical and low voltage for this space is to be installed per the included drawing as this space will include a large amount of electrical and LV due to the new use. 1. Base scope includes all labor, materials, equipment, insurance, and general conditions to complete the following scope of work. 2. Demolish walls as shown on attached drawing. Wrap column in drywall and paint. Patch/paint drywall where wall transitions to adjacent walls. Repaint any wall repaired from corner to corner. All drywall and paint is to be at a minimum of level 4 finish and all areas painted are to have at a minimum of a primer coat and 2 finish coats applied. Replace carpet where wall demolished with Interface Primary Stitch 102413 Moss carpet band to match existing building finishes. 3. Remove and relocate doors for offices 1474 and 1475. In‐fill existing doorways with metal studs and drywall. Paint to match wall. 4. Rework ceiling in 1471 to match grid layout of 1472. Rework existing lighting in ceiling grid as needed, no additional lights included in scope. 5. Remove upper cabinets in work area 1477. Patch and paint wall behind cabinets. Vendor is to relocated removed cabinets to the GGC Warehouse (Building P) upon removal. 6. Remove and Reinstall whiteboard. Exact location to be determined by GGC. 7. Replace/rework rubber base where affected as part of this scope. Reuse of existing rubber base from demolished walls will be allowed, as long as it is cleaned and properly installed upon completion of project. 8. Test measure airflow at each diffuser of both 1471 (VAV 3‐16) and 1472 (VAV 3‐17) HVAC prior to start and at completion of project. Ensure that completion of project has no adverse effects on new space air quality and comfort. Move VAV 3‐17 t‐stat down inside wall closer to outside wall since this system serves windows and outside wall area of new space. Modify ALC control graphics to reflect new space layout. TAB both boxes and provide updated TAB report. 9. Install new data and electrical as shows on drawings. Power is to be a duplex receptacle. Match outlet and cover plate color to existing finished in building. All low voltage is to be coordinated with GGC Office of Educational Technology (OET). Data jacks are to have 2 runs of CAT 6 terminated on both ends, one end to data jack, the other end to new/existing patch panel. New patch panel is to be CommScope 48 port Uniprise (UNP‐U‐610‐2U‐48 (760180059)) to match existing. Data labeling convention is to meet GGC OET standards. Any other product must be approved by GGC OET prior to install. Reuse of any data and power abandoned as part of this scope is expected. 10. Supply and install new power/data pole/chase to service cubicle system to be relocated as shown on drawings. Tie in power “whip” for cubicle system to new circuit above ceiling. Route new data for cubicle stations through pole.
