20ITB126597K-JAJ - Airfield Lighting & Rehabilitation

This project consists of the construction phase for the Airfield Lighting Rehabilitation - Runway 8-26, including vault improvements, for Runway 8-26 and its associated parallel and connecting taxiways. This scope of work shall address the removal and replacements of the existing high intensity runway edge lighting (HIRL) components, as well as the removal and replacement of the existing medium-intensity taxiway edge lighting (MITL) components. A new medium intensity taxiway lighting system will be constructed for parallel Taxiway “I” for the sections that have not been replaced by projects in the past couple of years (connector Taxiways “J”, “K”, “L” and a portion of Taxiway “I” Lighting). In addition, the airfield guidance signage within the Runway 8-26 and parallel taxiway corridor will be constructed for the signs that have not been replaced by projects in the past couple of years, as well as the supplemental wind indicators, shall also be removed and replaced as part of this project. Finally, some vault equipment modifications (new constant current regulators) will also be constructed for Runway 8-6 and Taxiway “I” to accommodate the new lighting load.
