Information provided to the Government will be used to assist developing the requirement and will not be released or shared publicly. The Government has provided questions for response. SCOPE OF WORK
- This scope of work defines the responsibilities, and performance requirements for the scheduled cleaning of firearms training ranges at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), located in Glynco, Georgia, Artesia, New Mexico; Charleston, South Carolina; and Cheltenham, Maryland. These services are necessary to ensure a safe, functional, and environmentally compliant training environment by removing accumulated frangible bullet dust and, where applicable, lead residue. The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) requires professional cleaning services to support the safe and compliant operation for each type of range, to include, live-fire training ranges involving lead-based ammunition. Contractor must have experience and knowledge of lead dust and particulate accumulation occurring in specific range components and have the understanding to conduct targeted lead dust remediation in designated range areas to ensure a safe training environment and full compliance with applicable occupational health, environmental, and federal regulations. All work shall be performed in accordance with applicable standards issued by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
2.Additional services require recurring contracted services to support the collection, removal, and staging of recyclable cardboard target debris and paper waste at Glynco, Georgia. These services are critical to sustaining the operational readiness, cleanliness, and environmental compliance of both live-fire training ranges and designated support facilities. The collection effort contributes directly to maintaining a safe and efficient training environment and supports the center’s broader waste management and sustainability initiatives.
