FOR SERVICES ON THE PREMISES OF THE GEORGIA WORLD CONGRESS CENTER, THE SUCCESSFUL CONTRACTOR(S) WILL PERFORM, AS A MINIMUM, THE FOLLOWING SERVICES: • Provide compactors for both landfill waste and recyclable materials, as well as electrical requirements, in permanent locations as specified by the Owner. Power will be provided by Owner. • Provide temporary dumpsters at the Owner’s request for peak periods of business, or for special projects, threehundred sixty-five (365) days per year, twenty-four (24) hours per day, at no extra charge, provided that the Contractor is given (24) hours’ notice by the Owner. • Empty and return equipment or a suitable replacement in a timely fashion as requested by the Owner. Contractor must be able to provide services 365 days per year, twenty-four (24) hours per day and be able to increase staffing during high-demand periods by request from the Owner. • Submitted proposal shall include procedures for scheduling hauls, the minimum timeframe required for submission of haul request to be completed within 24 hours or less, available office hours for accepting haul requests, and options for emergency contact if the haul need is outside available Contractor office hours. Specify procedure requirements for hauls needed on weekdays vs. weekends if applicable. • Submitted proposal shall include procedures on how Contractor to service account that includes: • List of all landfill and recycling facilities with their location in relation to the GWCC property (bid form). • Details on how Contractor would service up to 40+ hauls within a 24-hour period (example of high-demand period). • Maximum response time to pop-up haul need (bid form). • After discard of waste all equipment must be returned clean to the satisfaction of the Owner. Proposal shall include methods and procedures for cleaning all waste receptacles prior to return to Owner’s site. • Provide maintenance, repairs and general up-keep on all equipment for normal working condition, all of which must be performed in a timely manner to the complete satisfaction of the Owner. • Replace any equipment deemed unacceptable by the Owner due to, but not limited to, odor, unsightliness, deterioration, mechanical breakdown, or due to any internal program changes. • Provide compactors with the capability of being locked from the outside. • Provide containers that are color coded by waste type (recycling, landfill waste, wood recycling, et cetera) or have other designation and/or writing that clearly specifies what will go in the container. • Waste must be disposed of in proper manner according to laws, variances, statutes, ordinances or any other legal, ethical or professional standard governing solid waste disposal. • Personnel who are skilled in their respective trades must perform all work and service in a professional manner. • Personnel of the Contractor shall report to the Owner’s representatives before work is started. The Owner’s representatives will alert the personnel of the Contractor of any problems needing the attention of the Contractor at this time and the service person will be expected to take any and all necessary actions. Contractor’s service person should get all necessary paperwork signed by Owner’s representative at the time of service.
