The University of Georgia is seeking quotes from providers of housing accommodations, including but not limited to hotels and apartments in the Athens area. Occupants of the property may include employees, students, visitors to the University, or others. The University of Georgia desires the following: Emergency housing accommodations in the event of dormitory housing disruptions, i.e., burst water pipes, etc. Free Internet/Wi-Fi Close proximity (within 1 mile) to Athens Clarke County or University of Georgia bus stop -or- shuttle services provided Shower curtains included Bed sheets included Furniture included (bed/mattress at a minimum) Utilities included in price Security services on property A plan must be provided for key check-out and check-in ADA capabilities required Apartment complexes should not mix students with current residents in occupied apartments with multiple bedrooms. A site visit may be required at UGA’s discretion prior to a contract being awarded. Free parking provided
