Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Supplier shall provide one fully staffed advanced life support vehicle 24 hours per day, 7 days per week on-site at a GDC provided location. Staffing requirements include at least one state-certified EMT-P Paramedic level or higher and one Basic EMT-A or higher on duty 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to respond to any request for ambulance/emergency medical response. B. Supplier shall respond to the designated facilities within the required time frames as described in the chart below following the request for service and be available to provide advanced life support (ALS) and basic life support (BLS) emergency medical/ambulance service and non-emergency medical transport for GDC offenders housed in Tatnall County, Georgia. When possible, offenders requiring ALS services will be transported to the nearest hospital. Offenders requiring BLS ambulance services, wheelchair and/or stretcher services will be transported from their correctional facility to the hospital, physician office and/or other healthcare services provider. The Supplier shall provide exception reports to the GDC facility Health Services Administrator for any response that exceeds the allowable response time. Repeated responses in excess of the allowable response time may be cause for termination of the contract.
