Specifications include, but are not limited to: Competitive proposals from a pre-screened short list of vendors for a Time Keeping System with Multiple Overtime Thresholds. In December 2014, the City of Smyrna began an intensive search for companies who provide time keeping systems with multiple overtime thresholds that can directly upload payroll data into the City's Tyler MUNIS financial system. The result of that search was a short list of vendors which are being asked to submit proposals to the City. This Request for Proposal (RFP) states the overall scope of products and services desired, specific software functionality, technology foundation as well as desired reporting capabilities, including the ability to accommodate public safety's 28-day overtime schedules. The City would like to obtain a system that will allow for efficient processing and data retrieval (inquiries and reports). Currently, the City uses Tyler Technologies MUNIS financial ERP system, but has been using a crosswalk to move payroll data from the current timekeeping system to the MUNIS payroll module.
