Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work under this Contract shall consist of the work and services to be performed in the disposal of Municipal Solid Waste and Recyclables collected from the City's residential and commercial collection programs, including all the supervision, materials, equipment, labor, and all other items necessary to complete said work and services in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES A. Licenses and permits – The successful Service provider is required to possess and provide evidence of all necessary state and federal licenses or permits required for the operation of a landfill or transfer station. Service provider shall be required to comply with all applicable City and County license and tax requirements. B. Service provider shall, at its cost, furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and land necessary to operate and maintain the landfill and/or landfill transfer station in good clean condition consistent with normal operations of a landfill or transfer station and shall comply with all legally enforceable requirements required by the proper regulatory agencies. C. Service provider’s landfill or transfer station shall be open to receive trash and recyclables from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday through Friday, and from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday (until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday when requested at least 24 hours in advance) of each week except holidays observed by the City of Lawrenceville to include New Years, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (Thursday and Friday), and Christmas Day. The disposal site or transfer station shall also be available for disposal of material collected by the City of Lawrenceville’s waste collection service provider on the day following each City event, dates to be furnished to the City when each event schedule is finalized). D. Service provider’s landfill shall be open for extended hours and on normally closed days as needed and requested by the City following disasters such as tornadoes, etc. The successful Service provider shall inform the City of its price structure for this type of extended service when the award is made and these prices shall be firm for one year from contract execution unless increases are agreed to by both parties. Cost for this service shall NOT be included in the bid but may be subject to negotiation. E. The Service provider shall appoint an individual within its operation as primary contact for all matters pertaining to the daily operation of this contract.
