Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.Identify, Understand, and Assess Audience –Identify target audience and conduct assessments of to understand knowledge, behaviors, beliefs, lifestyle and motivations for physical activity and proper nutrition. Identified target audience includes African Americans residing 39 of the 43 eligible census tracts that have at least 20% of the population with income below the 100% federal poverty threshold. 2.Submit summary assessment report – Contractor will summarize assessment results and submit a report to DCBOH of important findings and insights as well as, provide a summary of the participant responses. 3.Develop marketing strategy and sample messages –Contractor will collaborate with DCBOH team to develop health messages based upon results of audience assessment. Contractor will develop suggested marketing strategy to test messages. This includes but is not limited to recommendations on message medium, outreach channels, and duration of testing. 4.Final report – Contractor will provide a written final summary report summarizing results and recommendations of message develop and testing.
