Specifications include, but are not limited to: DeKalb County School District(hereinafter, “DCSD”) is requesting a vendors to submit their qualifications to provide mental health services as individual and group counseling to students. Vendors are needed to provide in-person mental health services to students at all levels (elementary, middle, and high except charter schools), during the school day. School Based Mental Health services are currently provided to a small number of students during school hours; however, the district is seeking to increase capacity to meet the need of the student population. DCSD will refer students to the vendor for services. The vendor will be accountable to DCSD for the satisfaction of the administrator participating in the School Social Work Services Program. The vendor will need to have their own evaluation instrument which measures program effectiveness and/or be amenable to utilizing evaluation tools provided by the district. The vendor is responsible for funding the services provided or working with families to fund services. DCSD will not be providing any funds to support this venture. The district will provide referrals and confidential workspace conducive to the provision of mental health services. The vendors who provide direct services to our children must provide certified licensed professionals. The certified licensed professional must possess one of the following: 1. Licensed Clinical Social Worker 2. Licensed Professional Counselor 3. Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
