Specifications include, but are not limited to: Clarke County School District is accepting Proposals from qualified firms interested in providing a SWITCH INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADE / E-RATE FY 2024. The intent of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to obtain best-inclass solutions, support, and pricing options for an upgrade. The successful vendor is expected to provide the switch infrastructure upgrade for a fully-managed service. Clarke County School District serves twenty-four locations supporting 12,000+ students and 2,300+ staff members. The Technology Department has deployed a robust wired and wireless network infrastructure at these locations with the goal of supporting our students, staff, and a myriad of devices on campuses throughout the district. 6.1.1. The selected vendor will be responsible for unpatching existing equipment and patching/installing new equipment. 6.1.2. The selected vendor will remove any equipment that will be replaced, transport and store it in one central location for the district. Clarke County School District will be responsible for the disposal of the equipment from the central location. 6.1.3. Removal of existing equipment must include documenting the model and serial number per site and a copy turned in to the project coordinator upon completion of each site (both paper copy and Microsoft Excel format). 6.1.4. The district prefers that the same vendor install and configure new equipment. Clarke County will work with the vendor to provide necessary equipment configurations. 6.1.5. The model and serial number of new equipment must be documented along with the site and data closet that the systems were installed. This equipment will also be labeled with the Funding Request Number to be provided by the Clarke County School District. Documentation is to be turned in to the project coordinator upon completion of each site (both paper copy and Microsoft Excel format). 6.1.6. The selected vendor will be responsible for ensuring that all new equipment is registered to Clarke County School District for warranty purposes and shall provide a listing if any applicable contract numbers related to warranty and support. 6.1.7. The quantities for each location will be listed on the attached equipment list spreadsheet.
