The City of Elberton is issuing a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to engineering firms experienced in development of engineering plans, and construction and bid documents for federally funded infrastructure projects for industrial use. The project will seek to extend road, water, sewer (main and pump station), and/or broadband infrastructure for approximately 2,200 linear feet to a specified parcel in the City of Elberton Industrial Park. Parcel #032 033B is 164.87 acres of varying topography. The design will require an access road and supportive infrastructure from Mineral Springs Road/Cable Tower Circle to Limo Road. The access road will be required to cross a ravine and potential wetlands. The City of Elberton has already completed Lidar of the site and a Phase 1 Environmental Review.
