The City of Duluth is seeking Proposals for interior and exterior remodeling of the Red Clay Theatre located at 3116 Main Street. The building is currently used as a live music venue and music school. The live music venue is operated under contract to Eddie Owen and has a committed calendar for live performances. The contractor must be able to accommodate the live performances during construction. The normal live performance schedule is Thursday through Sunday evenings with a once a month Wednesday evening performance. Performances normally start at 7:00 pm. The schedule must be coordinated with the operator, Eddie Owen. The Gwinnett School of Music also operates out of the basement of the building, Monday through Thursday from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Saturday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm The contractor must be able to accommodate school activities during construction activities. Signage Upgrades The project calls for a new exterior front marquee sign including the LED boards. The sign component of the project must be from a company that has experience in manufacturing wall or marquee signs for a theatre. The existing sign was manufactured and installed by A-1 Signs, 6334 Buford Highway
