Specifications include, but are not limited to: Painting 1. Repaint entry door, door frame and door trim as specified. 2. Remove existing security bars (remove carefully for re-installation). Paint and reinstall security bars at door and windows after all exterior work is completed and inspected at Final Inspection. 3. Remove window screens. Do not re-install. 4. Reglaze all windows and try to make existing windows function (open/close) where possible. Make bottom sashes closed where slightly open. 5. Repaint all windows, sashes, muntins, frames and sills as specified (includes bay window). Repainting of all windows includes application of perimeter sealant at edge junctions of all windows/sills with adjacent materials (siding or brick). 6. Remove all rotted/damaged fascia boards and trim and soffit. Install new matching materials of equal size and thickness to member back to existing. All new fascia and trim boards shall be back primed prior to installation. 7. Prep and fully paint all existing and new wood fascia, trim and soffits as specified. Paint all existing painted surfaces and all new wood surfaces. 8. Clean and paint all window shutters. $ Porch 1. Prior to painting, soft pressure wash all front porch brick posts, beams, soffits, porch floor and steps and sidewalk out to driveway only. Remove all mildew. Repair all wood surfaces prior to painting. $ Door 1. Remove existing storm door and frame completely. Repair/fill resulting holes in wood trim. Re-install existing storm door and frame complete after painting is inspected and approved by Rehabilitation Inspector. See Painting Item 2 above. Repainting of doors/door frames includes application of perimeter sealant at junctions of frame/sill with adjacent siding/brick. $ Electric 1. Remove existing wall mounted light fixture and replace with new exterior rated LED fixture as specified. Modify electrical mounting box to mount fixture next to existing shutter, not on shutter. 2. Remove existing damaged doorbell push button and install new illuminated doorbell button as specified. Re-route existing doorbell wire neatly prior to painting door frame. $ Roof 1. DCED shall contract separately for the roofing of this house. 2. The separately contracted reroofing shall include removing the existing rooftop trash, removing the existing tarps, removing all existing shingles, removing existing roof underlayment, removing all edge flashings, removing all VTR and other roof penetration flashings, removal of all concealed and exposed counter flashings, repairing/patching existing roof deck (except for temporary rooftop access hole to be cut and patched by the General Contractor - see Exterior - Back, Roof Note #2), installing new roof underlayment, installing all new edge flashings, installing all new VTR and roof penetration flashings, installing all new concealed and exposed counter flashings, installing all new shingle roofing on all roofs, cleanup and removal of all roof related debris and trash. 3. The General Contractor shall provide coordination, access and sequencing to the DCED separate roofing contractor for execution of the roofing installation. 4.
