3.1 The vendor will be called on an as needed basis to provide paraprofessional personnel to assist in supporting various departments and schools throughout the District. The employee must be eligible for a paraprofessional certificate and pass a criminal background check annually. No exact quantity is guaranteed. The selected vendor will coordinate these services through the Chief Human Resource Officer or a designee. The selected vendor will offer a competitive benefits package that is comparable to what is offered to direct hires of Rockdale County Public Schools. Additionally, weekly or semi-monthly pay is strongly recommended. 3.2 Sample Position Descriptions The following position is a example of the paraprofessional job description the contracted vendor(s) may be called upon to provide. However, for the purposes of this contract, positions may be filled and are subject to all terms and conditions of this solicitation. 3.3 Paraprofessional Summary: Assist the teacher in the achievement of learning objectives by working with individual students and/or small groups to present or reinforce learning concepts
