a) The Contractor will be the exclusive Provider for emergency ambulance services within the geographic boundaries of Randolph County, including the unincorporated areas of the County and all the municipalities located within it (hereinafter "Service Area"). b) To ensure the availability and service of emergency ambulance services to the visitors, citizens, and residents of Randolph County, the Contractor shall operate and maintain primary emergency ambulance services on a 24 hour a day, seven day a week basis within the Service Area. c) During the term of this Agreement, the Contractor shall furnish, operate, and dedicate three (3) ALS level or higher ambulances to always provide emergency and nonemergency ambulance services within the Service Area (hereinafter "Contractor Ambulances"). d) The Contractor shall employ and provide at its own expense at least two qualified and duly licensed healthcare professionals for each Contractor Ambulance, one of which shall be licensed above the level of EMT (such as a paramedic) as necessary to qualify the Contractor Ambulance as an Advanced Life Support (hereinafter "ALS") ambulance in compliance with Ga. R. & Regs.R. 511-9-2-.02 {c).
