Specifications include, but are not limited to: One security guard shall be on-site at the Civic Center/Library complex between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and between 9:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. on holidays and weekends. Once nightly, Monday through Friday, security patrol will do internal building inspections of the Civic Center. An early morning patrol/inspection of the Library complex will also be performed. Security guard will secure all doors, gates, windows, or other points of entry. If unable to do so, the security guard will call the appropriate City staff to secure the site. If an alarm is sounded the alarm company has been instructed to call security company’s dispatch to have the alarm investigated by security and the appropriate City contact to be called out, if necessary.
