Tate Playground: • Area-Approx. 10,000 Sq. ft. • Install synthetic turf to playground area highlighted • Turf to include small kickball/baseball field (bases only) layout inlay • Highlighted area to be prepped, free of debris, and graded prior to turf installation • Drainage to be installed as necessary to provide proper water displacement and avoid ponding on synthetic turf. • Synthetic turf drainage to have compacted base of min. 4in stone (#57, #89) • Drainage to be covered (by min 4-6” of #57-4” & #89”) as needed to complete job. • All edges of synthetic turf to be galvanized turf anchored max. 6” apart, if this not obtainable a 2”x4” composite board shall be needed with staples. • Min 12” seam tape and adhesive for seams • Infilled min 2lbs per foot • Turf to be swept and Infill leveled. • Jobsite to be cleaned and free of debris upon completion. Large Structure • Pickens County School District is looking for design and installation of the following in Highlighted area • Proposer is to provide labor and materials to install Large Play Structure, Use Zone border, and wood mulch to required recommend depth according to fall height. (Min 9”) • Use Zone range-approx. 2,400-2,750sqft • Capacity Range- Min 50-100 • ADA compliant • Border around perimeter of use zone with entry ramps. • Must meet ASTM 1487 and CPSC Playground safety standards. • Proposer to leave site clean, tidy, and free of loose debris.
