The county is requesting proposals for nine (9) fixed 40KW, Single Phase, 240/120V generators with 200A ATS, Automatic Controls, Running Load 40KW, Starting Load 53KW, rated for 48 hours of operation, installed at nine (9) Fire Stations located within Carroll County. The County requests commercial generators manufactured by one of the following manufacturers: Cummins, Caterpillar, Kohler, or Generac. The address of each fire station is provided below. The contractors’ bid shall include generators, shipping of the generators, transfer switches, and any additional materials needed to complete the electrical portion of the generator hookups. The contractor must install generators in accordance with all applicable local and national building and electrical codes, in addition to the Generator Codes and Standards provided in the Supplemental Materials section.
