The Gwinnett County Department of Parks and Recreation is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for the provision of maintenance and repair of irrigation systems on a multi-year contract. Services under this contract include but are not limited to repair and on-call maintenance services for existing irrigation systems. The services provided are intended to supplement and complement the efforts of the County in maintaining the serviceability of the existing systems. There are currently 35 park locations around the County that use one of three irrigation systems: Rain Bird, Hunter, or Calsense. The department currently has approximately five (5) parks with a two-wire system and does not have any parks utilizing Wi-Fi for irrigation.
