Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. PROJECT BACKGROUND The Gwinnett County Department of Water Resources (GCDWR) is requesting proposals from qualified consultant firms, certified in the Sandia National Laboratories Risk Assessment Methodology for Water Systems (RAM-W), toconduct an update to the existing Vulnerability Assessment (VA) of GCDWRs water supply facilities, water treatment facilities, water storage tanks, and booster pump stations (Phase I), and to prepare an Emergency Response Plan (ERP) which incorporates results of the Vulnerability Assessment (Phase II). The Vulnerability Assessment shall include a discussion of recommended improvements, by facility location, to serve as the basis for future CIP development. GCDWRs water supply facilities include two raw water intake and pumping stations, raw water distribution chambers, surge tank, 15,000 feet of raw water transmission mains, raw water reservoir, two water production facilities with seven (7) on-site clearwells and two (2) high service pump stations, 3700 miles of transmission mains, 10 water storage tanks, and 13 booster pump stations.
