The project contemplated for these services is described as the Academy Creek WPCF Clarifier Rehabilitation (Project) whose components are further described in Attachment D ‐ Project Technical Requirements. The Owner owns and operates the Academy Creek WPCF to treat collected wastewater from the residents and businesses of Mainland Brunswick in compliance with applicable permitting and regulations. The Project contemplated herein will specifically involve improvements for design and installation for complete and good-as-new replacement of (6) existing clarifier units. The work will include at a minimum, removal of existing clarifier implements (feed wells, mechanisms, weirs, troughs, bridges, and baffles), recoating existing concrete, purchase and installation of new mechanisms, weirs, troughs, and purchase and installation of (6) new gate actuators for influent gates to the clarifiers. If conditions allow, Owner prefers to reuse existing feed wells, baffles, and bridges.
