The City of Hampton is soliciting Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firm(s) or organization(s) to provide preconstruction engineering (design) activities for West King Road Connector-Pedestrian Bridge project. Under the terms of the resulting Agreement, the selected consultant will provide Preconstruction Engineering Design Services in support of the City of Hampton West King Road Connector – Pedestrian Bridge project (PI# 0021212). The project will connect West King Road across State Route 20 (SR 20) and include minimum 10’ wide shared use path a pedestrian bridge, and conversion of a roadway segment to pedestrian-only use services, for the City Project identified. The anticipated scope of work for the project/contract is included in Exhibit I. In addition, the City of Hampton desires that the Consultant have the ability to provide, either with its own forces or through a sub-consultant team member, comprehensive services necessary to fulfill all preconstruction engineering services which may arise during the project cycle.
