2.1 Type of Service and Objectives The City of Sylvester seeks qualified contractors to provide full-treatment pest control services for all City facilities (Attachment A). Services include the use of properly registered pesticides and/or approved devices at scheduled intervals to maintain acceptable levels of insect and rodent suppression. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to perform full-treatment pest control services for all areas specified, including rooms, closets, kitchens, hallways, stairwells, attics, elevators, and any other building areas not specifically listed. Full-treatment pest control includes inspection and treatment for rats, mice, cockroaches, ants, moths, silverfish, and other pests not excluded from the contract. Termite control is included for specified locations. Contractor must respond within 24 hours to any pest issues reported by City personnel. 2.2 Specifications, Terms, and Conditions 1. The city requests proposals inclusive of pest controland termite services for all listed premises. 2. Contract term is one (1) year, with up to three (3) optional one-year renewals. 3. The City reserves the right to evaluate firm qualifications. 4. Firms must submit appropriate certifications with their proposal. 5. The City may terminate the contract for nonperformance or violation of terms. 6. Either party may cancel the agreement with 90 days' notice. 2.3 Contractor Responsibilities Provide trained, certified pesticide applicators. Comply with all Federal, State, and local pesticide laws. Report any conditions conducive to infestation. Provide one call-back service per month per facility at no additional charge. Remove all pesticides and bait stations at contract conclusion.
