Specifications include, but are not limited to: GCPS reserves the right to award to one or more contractors. After the award is made, work will be assigned based on approach, experience, and cost. It is the intent of this contract that the Contractor shall provide labor, materials, equipment, and services to complete work as assigned by the Gwinnett County Public School System or its representative. GCPS reserves the right to furnish part or all of the materials, parts, equipment, and services as it appears to be in its best interest. All invoices to be turned in with written description of work. Any problems that require immediate attention will require notifying the Coordinator immediately by phone so corrective action can be taken while on site. All material used in repair of existing systems must meet or exceed the below GCPS standards: • Minimum pipe class Schedule 40 after valve. • Minimum fitting class schedule 80 before valve. • Concrete thrust blocks at all mainline areas that change direction. • All trenching for pipe set minimum 18” deep
