Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Villa Rica requests Statements of Qualifications from consultants to provide professional design services for the Northside Downtown Streetscape Project. The selected consultant would provide surveys, design, bidding assistance and construction oversight services to the City. Consultants must follow the GDOT Plan Development Process (PDP) and deliverables must adhere to all applicable GDOTrequirements. Submitting firms must be pre-qualified by GDOT and personnel assigned to the projectmust be PDP certified.Basic Services include all necessary landscape architectural, civil, structural, electrical, geotechnical,utility, lighting, graphic design, or other professional services, necessary for the planning, design,solicitation of bids for construction, permitting and construction of the project. Project specific activitiesinclude preparation of a concept report, meetings with city staff and/or elected officials, meetings with affected property owners, construction documents preparation (including lighting, utility, erosion control and right-of-way drawings), cost estimating, assisting with the bid process, monthly contractor site review and invoice approval, construction observation, geotechnical and materials testing, and coordination with affected utilities and public jurisdictions, including the City of Villa Rica, Carroll County, and GDOT.
