In the Nutrition Health Ambassador Program, the awarded Contractor will be central to facilitating a Train-the-Trainer model. This approach leverages community partnerships to ensure the program's sustainable and effective implementation. Here are the key responsibilities and contributions of the Contractors model: 1. Designate at least one facilitator for the Nutrition Health Ambassador pilot program and attend facilitator orientation sessions with DKPH Health Promotion Specialist. a. Upon completion of the orientation session, complete 1 implementation plan. DKPH will provide the template for this implementation plan 2. Identify a staff member and a senior center member to lead this initiative. The identified individuals will be referred to as “Ambassadors”. The ambassadors will be the primary trainers for the Nutrition Health Ambassador Program. a. Develop criteria for ambassador qualifications and host an initial interest meeting to recruit volunteer senior members who demonstrate an interest in improving food access in their community. 3.
