Specifications include, but are not limited to: Columbus Consolidated Government is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide a needsassessment study for the Muscogee Sheriff's Office. The awarded firm will serve as a resource for firmsduring the subsequent design phase of this project.The Muscogee Sheriff's Office operates a single Jail facility, comprised of 5 separate constructions withan average daily population of 1,069. A Needs Assessment Study is necessary to determine current andfuture adult housing capacity requirements and costs associated with the construction of an addition to thecurrent facility. The site for the proposed addition is adjacent to the current facility and the footprint ofthe project will be limited accordingly.
