▪ The Vendor must provide proof of liability insurance coverage of no less than $1,000,000 along with worker’s compensation insurance coverage. All employees of the Bartow County School System shall be named as additionally insured. ▪ The successful Vendor shall be a licensed non-restricted low voltage electrician. The Vendor shall provide copies of the Company’s license & certification and employees certifications. Proposals received without this information will not be accepted. ▪ The successful Vendor shall provide low voltage repairs and services as needed to all Bartow County School System locations. This includes but is not limited to fire alarm systems, security (burglar) systems and security code changes. ▪ The Successful Vendor shall adhere to the following low voltage wiring, and connection requirement from the BCSS Technology Department (Technology). 1. All network related connections must be approved by Technology prior to connection. 2. All network addressing and naming must be coordinated with Technology. 3. Data Cables must be connected through a patch panel. No straight thru wiring. 4. All cablings must be plenum rated CAT6. 5. Panduit is the preferred termination parts vendor. If unable to obtain Panduit, Technology will work to help obtain necessary parts. ▪ The Vendor shall perform annual and semi-annual fire alarm inspections for each facility location, and provide a detailed report of operational status, repairs, etc. All inspection shall be coordinated with the Director of Maintenance and Construction or his representative and performed at a time convenient for the Owner. ▪ When an emergency repair or service is requested, the successful Vendor shall respond immediately, or the Owner shall contact the next low Vendor to provide the service and repair that is needed. ▪ When determined that a repair or service is not an emergency the successful Vendor shall be given forty-eight (48) hours to provide the service or repair. If a response is not received within the allotted time the next low Vendor shall be contacted to provide the service or repair.
