Furnish and install all materials, labor, and equipment for: All streets measurements vary in width and length. All will require 1 inch leveling. There are some streets that are indicated on the list that will need milling prior to being resurfaced. Some have manholes and valves that will need risers added. Each street will need to be bid on individually. Any streets that have root damage or base damage will be repaired by Public Works prior to resurfacing. The following streets are what will be bid on: Magnolia Street – from Highway 19 to Highway 30 (0.8 miles, District 2) East Furlow Street – from Tripp St to Cherokee St (0.2 miles, District 6) Matt Hart Drive – from Carter St to Madison St (0.3 miles, District 1) Cherokee St – from East Lamar St to East Furlow St (0.4 miles, District 6) Cherry Street – from East Lamar St to Elmo St (> 0.1 miles, District 5) PeggyAnne Drive – from Lorraine Ave to Crawford St (0.2 miles, District 6) Additional Items: Contractor responsible for complying with all State and Federal laws. Contractor responsible for being OSHA compliant. Contractors will be responsible for all permits, debris removal, and must provide proof of business license and adequate insurance coverage before contract will be awarded.
