The successful vendor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, services, equipment and parts to undertake and to perform grease trap cleaning services on a semi annual basis for 51 outside and/or inside grease traps in the Districts schools and related equipment in accordance with city ordinances and any and all other applicable local, state or federal regulations. The Vendor shall date and replace service stickers on all grease traps if applicable. During the requested times of service, a custodian or cafeteria manager shall be on site.The successful vendor must be able to clean the Grease Trap at each school in a timely mannerduring the Christmas break at the end of December each year and during the month of July each year. School calendars are available to the public on the District's website at the following address: www.sccpss.com The list of all traps is identified on the bid submittal form and the Vendor will be responsible for updating the information on the list as the traps are cleaned by reporting back the information to the Maintenance and Operations Director. The Vendor will be responsible for reporting any deficiencies in the condition of the grease traps cleaned and their associated piping, dip legs, covers and other equipment needed for proper operation of the grease traps. Pricing will be a per tank size price. There may be other cleaning of traps needed beyond the twice yearly cleaning at each school anticipated by these specifications. The successful vendor will develop a list of schedule for the time periods given herein. This schedule could be ordered for his convenience going from school to school. SCCPSS will publish the list through the School Nutrition Department and the schools can communicate their objections and problems as needed. Cleaning must not interfere with the operation of the kitchens or other School Nutrition Service activities at the school sites. The Grease Traps must be returned to normal service after cleaning. The debris from the cleaning must be disposed at the Vendors expense in a manner that complies with all applicable local, county, state and Federal laws, regulations and other limitations on such disposal. There may be other cleaning of traps needed beyond the twice yearly cleaning at each school anticipated by these specifications. No additional specifications were given.
