Specifications include, but are not limited to:RCSO Campus is outfitted with an RFID Access control system with hardware built by Keyscan. The system runs on the Keyscan V platform. Keyscan V manages two 4-scanner Access Control Units (ACUs) and five 2-scanner ACUs. All but one of the ACUs is located on the main campus. A single 2-scanner ACU is located at the south side precinct on GA 20 near Honey Creek Rd. RFID scanning is provided by Cerberus Pyrotronics(Owned by Siemens) RFID scanners. The end user uses 26-bit HID Prox II cards for access. Keyscan V currently runs on an antiquated Dell desktop. The RCSO has expressed interest on whether or n o t A u r o r a s h o u l d b e h o s t e d o n t h e m a i n c a m p u s o r i f i t s h o u l d b e p l a c e d w i t h K e y s c a n ’ s H o s t e d S e r v i c e s offsite. III. Deliverables for this Contract The proposer will provide equipment and services to upgrade the existing access control system on the RCSO campus from Keyscan V to Keyscan Aurora. Furthermore, equipment and hardware provided will also allow for future expansion without major hardware replacement (e.g. installing an 8 reader ACU on a floor with 4 readers currently installed).
