The awarded contractor(s) will be responsible for delivering a complete, standards-compliant telecommunications system that supports voice, data, and network connectivity throughout academic, administrative, and auxiliary facilities. The scope includes both inside and outside plant work, with detailed specifications for MDF/IDF room construction, environmental controls, power requirements, and pathway coordination. This procurement represents a significant opportunity for suppliers with demonstrated experience in large-scale telecommunications infrastructure projects. KSU adheres to strict industry standards (e.g., ANSI/TIA, BICSI, NEC) and requires all work to be coordinated with its University Information Technology Services (UITS) department. Historical spend and project magnitude vary by building and phase, and multiple divisions and stakeholders may be involved in each deployment
