The Jackson County Board of Commissioners will be accepting sealed proposals from firms with a combination of architectural and engineering service offerings who are experienced in conceptual planning, development of architectural and engineering plans, the development of construction and bid documents, and construction management capabilities. Architectural & Engineering will be for a project intended to be located on two county-owned parcels near the County Administrative Complex on Jackson Parkway. The County would like to partner with iServe Ministries to construct a community resource building and a minimum of 10 new single-family detached homes. The scope of the project may also include site preparation and grading, water and sewer connections, and parking. Responding firms should be technically qualified and licensed to provide these services and experienced in the preparation of plans for utility infrastructure (water/sewer) and new housing construction. Services provided will include coordination in preparation of a Preliminary Architectural and Engineering Report and further design services if a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) or other funding is awarded.
