Georgia DOT is seeking to contract with a Design-Builder to provide design and construction services necessary to install broadband and connected vehicle (CV) infrastructure along the entire I-95 corridor in Camden, Glynn, McIntosh, Liberty, Bryan, Chatham and Effingham Counties, GA (the Project). A DesignBuilder included a Lead Contractor and a Lead Design Consultant working together to design and construct the Project. The broadband infrastructure will include fiber optic cable installed in conduit on the shoulder of the interstate for the entire limits of the Project and will connect to the existing GDOT NaviGAtor network. The project also includes the deployment of CV Roadside Units (RSU), Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras, and associated cabinets, pull boxes, and supporting intelligent transportation systems (ITS) infrastructure.
