a) The successful contractor will maintain all the elevators in the MCSD in completely serviceable and ANSI Code Compliant operating conditions. b) Examine, on annual basis, each piece of elevator equipment in the MCSD. c) Adjust, maintain, lubricate, and when required through normal wear and tear, repair or replace the required parts to maintain all equipment to ANSI Code. d) Submit a status report on each unit in writing to Plant Services within five (5) working days of inspection. e) In case of an emergency, such as an individual trapped in an elevator, the response time from the contractor is to be less than sixty minutes. f) The vendor will furnish all parts tools, equipment, lubricants, cleaning compounds, and cleaning equipment. g) The vendor will replace all signal lamps as required. h) All inspections are to include an examination and test of all the hydraulic system and/or governor and safety on all equipment, lubricants cleaning compounds, and cleaning equipment. i) Standards for all work are outlined in the American National Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators, ANSI A17-1. j) Proposers must be capable of responding to future calls within two hours.
